Hi Deborah
I think you've done really well this year. Your enthusiasm and hard work has certainly paid off. Did you get anywhere with the film submission?
Hope you got enrolled last week. See you on the 18th at Sambucas?

In response to: Journey back to classroom

Hi Kitty
You are an inspiration to me! As ever your writing is touching and funny. I saw your article in the Chronicle and picture. Well done. What's going to be your personal target for next term's writing?
Still coming to Sambucas on the 18th July?

In response to: progression - Ann Moir

Hi Ann
At long last I've got time to try out blogging. I've been really encouraged by the Scribblers' enthusiasm for new technolog
y! i think your writing is wonderful and you should have more confidence in your ability. I think you've had a go at every exercise and without the benefit of starter exercises as you joined an already established class. I think you should keep trying for Myslexia submissions. I note your comment about writing never being good enough but that's the mark of a truly reflective and critical writer. All the things I've read about writing say one thing - write, write and write! Please keep writing.

In response to: Writing Journal and Diary

Hi Ann
Many thanks for using the blog to chart your progress in writing. I was interested to read that you didn't like reading out aloud. What do you find difficult? Can I help at all? Would you like more practice? I'd love to read some of your computer diary entries some time.
What is going to be your personal focus next term?

In response to: Welcome Digital Artists!

Hi, just to let you know that a group of students at Wallsend Peoples Centre are creating some digital art to illustrate a fictional book cover.

Each student was asked to think of a subject for a book cover and to illustrate it using either photographs or computer generated art coupled with a brief story line and illustrative text.

I hope they will add their story line here and that it may be used for ideas for the creative writers group.
